IT Project Manager

What made you choose Releye?
My commitment to Releye really took off when I had the opportunity to meet several of my future colleagues during the second round of interviews. For me, it’s crucial to find a workplace that combines high ambitions with a positive and collaborative atmosphere, while also working with respected clients and on projects that foster personal and professional growth. Even during the interview process, I felt a strong sense of belonging and a clear team spirit that permeated the company, which gave me the confidence that this was the right environment for me to continue developing in. The combination of passionate colleagues, exciting projects from major clients, and the well-designed project methodology were key factors that drew me to wanting to become part of the Releye team.
What does a typical workday look like for you?
No two days are alike as an IT project manager. A Monday might start with a daily stand-up meeting with the Releye team working on Salesforce. During this meeting, we project managers ensure that our team members have their daily tasks assigned. After that, I have a “sprint planning meeting.” Here, we work with the developers to translate the client’s requirements for the current project into concrete steps for a technical solution. After that, I go to lunch with my colleagues—either at the office or at a nearby restaurant, depending on how lazy we’ve been about bringing lunch boxes. After lunch, it’s time for a weekly meeting with the client where we review the tasks for the current sprint we’re in. Here, we also take the pulse of ongoing projects with the client. This is to ensure that our expectations and scheduling are aligned between us and the client we’re working with. The final meeting might be an internal iteration demo. Here, our developers present their finished solution to the entire project team, so we’re all up to date on what’s coming in our next release to the client.
What's the most fun thing you've done in the past few weeks?
We went out for after-work drinks with a client at an arcade/multi-game center, which was a lot of fun!
What do you like to do in your free time?
I usually spend my free time with friends. We usually have dinner together, game nights, work out, or go on spontaneous adventures.
Do you have any advice for someone interested in applying for a job with us?
It’s important that you feel comfortable being yourself. Don’t hold back when it comes to showing us at Releye who you are. Be brave, be curious, and show us that you’re the right person for the job!
