Our expectations for Dreamforce 2022
Dreamforce in San Francisco is the highlight of the year for many in the Salesforce ecosystem. With countless workshops, seminars, networking opportunities, and parties—not to mention the famous concert featuring top-tier artists! Dreamforce is a packed event that draws tens of thousands of Trailblazers to San Francisco every year.
Especially for us at Releye. Our dream team, consisting of Martin Broliden and Mike Bogunov, will be representing us there. We look forward to hearing their insights, but above all, we’re curious to know what’s on their minds before they leave.
Martin Broliden is a business consultant here at Releye—here are his expectations for Dreamforce!
1. What are you most looking forward to at Dreamforce?
Getting to attend and experience the world’s largest software conference is what I’m looking forward to the most. I’ve seen photos and videos of Dreamforce and listened to the keynote speakers online in previous years, but getting to do this in person alongside Mike and hundreds of thousands of others is going to be absolutely amazing!
2. What do you hope to learn and bring back with you to Sweden?
Above all , I want to stay up to date on all product launches and both new and existing features across Salesforce’s cloud services, but I’ll also be drawing inspiration from other customer solutions, application areas, and work methods.
3. What do you hope to contribute?
I hope to bring a great deal of curiosity, enthusiasm, and networking skills to the table. Since we’re attending as representatives of Releye, our partner, I’ll naturally strive to showcase our company and our team to both clients and other partners.
4. Which sessions will you attend?
It’s tough to pick and choose from a lineup of over 1,300 sessions, but I’m definitely going to pack my schedule to the brim so I don’t miss anything exciting. Still, I think a mix of lectures, workshops, networking events, and just wandering around the venue will be a great way to go.
5. Which speaker are you most looking forward to hearing, and why?
There are many big names on the list that I’m looking forward to, such as Marc Benioff (CEO & founder, Salesforce), Al Gore (former Vice President, Nobel laureate, and businessman), Matthew McConaughey (actor & author), as well as other speakers who will focus more on Salesforce products, use cases, and success stories. In addition to listening to keynotes and industry experts, I’m really looking forward to seeing the Red Hot Chili Peppers perform at San Francisco’s Oracle Park, since I’ve been listening to them since I was a kid.
6. What are you planning to do in San Francisco while you're there?
In addition to making the most of my time at Dreamforce, I plan to take the opportunity to do some sightseeing in the city—maybe even head out to a winery or something similar. I have some vague memories from when I was there in 2007, so I’ll think about whether there are any hidden gems I’d like to visit again!
7. Which Salesforce mascot do you like best, and why?
Einstein has become a new favorite thanks to his innovative and quick-witted approach. He is definitely a key figure for the future!
