Salesforce VTO Day
Robin and Gustaf, our key account managers at Releye visited Grinda Agriculture for charity work together with Salesforce. Giving back is at the heart of Salesforce culture , which is why they invite their employees and partners to carry out charitable work. The idea behind VTOdays is to help and bring the community together and to foster newopportunities for our society.
As a Salesforce partner, it’s great to be able to collaborate in this way as well
– Gustaf Thunqvist (KAM Releye)
What is VTO?
VTO stands for “volunteer time off” and refers to companies offering paid time off to employees so they can volunteer for a charitable cause. Companies that offer VTO days demonstrate social responsibility and provide employees with paid time off to participate in community service projects.
Salesforce VTO – days is a volunteer program that invites employees to share their skills and expertise to help and empower the community, improve lives, and make a greater impact.
Salesforce employees receive seven paid days of volunteer time off (VTO) each year. This can range from volunteering at a school or providing virtual mentorship to supporting organizations with technical and professional expertise. All employees are encouraged to use their VTO in a way that is meaningful to them and aligns with their personal passions.
Giving back and getting involved in our local communities is at the heart of our culture and was undoubtedly one of the reasons why I started working at Salesforce almost a year ago – Martin Henning Morrisette (Customer Success, Salesforce)
This time, Salesforce and Releye ventured deep into the Stockholm archipelago to help with farming and animal care at a nature reserve on Grinda Lantbruk.
Grinda Lantbruk is owned by the Archipelago Foundation and is run as a small-scale farm. The animals graze in the nature reserve, thereby helping to preserve and restore old cultivated land.
The farm has cows, horses, sheep, goats, pigs, chickens, ducks, and rabbits. Several of the animals are Swedish native breeds: Fjäll cows, Rödkullor, Gotland ponies, and North Swedish workhorses. The farm is open year-round and offers activities such as pony rides and horse-and-carriage tours.
Grinda Farm gratefully accepts help with farm chores from volunteers, families, or groups.

The Archipelago Foundation does a fantastic job of preserving and developing the archipelago. They own land and rental properties and ensure that many people can visit our magnificent archipelago. At Grinda , they keep the landscape open through small-scale farming. On this day, we had the privilege of chopping wood, painting, and moving fences for both cows and sheep – Gustaf Thunqvist (KAM Releye)
